Will I be charged during the trial?
No. Stripe collects a payment method when you start the trial, but nothing is charged for the first 7 days. The first charge falls on day 8, at $79/month for the Small Firm plan. Cancel before then from Plan & Billing and you pay nothing.
What happens after the trial ends?
On day 8 your subscription starts at $79/month flat for the Small Firm plan. You can also switch to Solo ($29/month) or, if you need unlimited seats, Agency ($149/month) at any time, or cancel and stay on the free plan (up to 3 clients). All your data is preserved regardless of plan.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from Plan & Billing at any time. If you cancel during the trial, you'll never be charged. No questions asked, no cancellation fees.
Do I need a card to start?
Yes. Stripe asks for a payment method at checkout, though nothing is charged that day. It's what lets the plan carry on at day 8 instead of stopping mid-season. You're not charged during the 7 days, and cancelling before day 8 costs nothing.
Can my whole team use the trial?
Absolutely. The Small Firm plan includes up to 5 team members — invite your firm from day one and everyone gets full access during the trial. Bigger team? Start an Agency trial for unlimited seats instead.

Yes, if your firm has not had a trial before: there is one per firm. Clicking the trial link signs you in and opens the Small Firm trial checkout. If your firm has already had its trial, Plan & Billing offers Subscribe instead. All your existing data is preserved.
